Dr. Quentin Van Meter
I forgot to start recording right away, so here is the introduction that got cut off: "Saint Raphael‘s guild is extremely privileged and honored to have as our guest speaker tonight Dr. Quentin Van Meter. He is a board-certified pediatrician and board-certified pediatric endocrinologist.
"He’s on the clinical faculty at Emory University School of Medicine as well as Morehouse Medical College.
"He’s been a pediatric endocrinologist for 40 years. He trained in endocrinology at Johns Hopkins University. Johns Hopkins was one of the early institutions medically and surgically treating “transsexualism“ as it was known at the time. It was also the institution at which clinical psychologist John Money did some of his early work in transsexualism or transgender
"Dr. Van Meter is also the president of the American College of Pediatricians, of which I am a member. Dr. Van Meter is an international speaker on the topic of transgenderism. Please welcome him."
