White Mass 2022

Bishop Daniel Felton celebrated our annual White Mass on October 9, 2022. He  blessed the healthcare workers and preached on the healing of the 10 lepers and our need for thanksgiving. We then had brunch, put on by the Knights of Columbus.  Bishop Felton spoke on the need for healing of our entire diocese, and our role in that, as a pathway to joy. 

Of note, this year at the national educational meeting of the Catholic Medical Association, the University of Minnesota Duluth CMA student Section was awarded the Outstanding Student Chapter of the Year!! That award was presented by Emma Pero and Dr. Skorich to the current student section officers: Tony Ukkelberg (President), Katie Warner (Vice President), Abbie Boehmer (President Elect), and Allison Olsson (Vice President Elect). 

In addition, our St. Raphael's Guild was awarded the Pillar Certificate! This was presented by Emma to Dr. Dan Skorich (President) and Dr. Gordy Harvieux (Vice President)

Finally, St. Raphael's Guild has raised $15,000 for the tabernacle within the chapel at the new St. Mary's Medical Center!! Fr. Tom Foster spoke of the new St. Mary's Chapel.
