St. Mary’s Chapel

On July 21, 2023, Bishop Daniel Felton dedicated the altar and chapel in St. Mary’s Medical Center. The Benedictine Sisters actively participated. St. Raphael’s Guild donated the tabernacle, the Paschal candle stand, and candle sticks. The tabernacle was found by the Benedictine Sisters and Fr. Tom Foster. It had been the tabernacle on the high altar of the chapel of Our Lady Queen of Peace in the St. Scholastica Monastery. This was one of the many connections between the Benedictine Sisters, the former chapel, and the new St. Mary’s Medical Center chapel.
